I'm probably not the best person to comment on this. I had to use it to sleep on a Stressless chair, not on the ground. Used it once and gave up on the second attempt. I thought the extra wide one would be less restricting, and it was. In fact it swamped me and shifted about all over the place. It is quite well made and is light yet fairly warm and comfortable. Couldn't even find the hole for the small pillow to slot in, so gave up on that. For 'normal' usage, i.e. on flat surfaces it will probably be very good. So if you are 'normal', then go for it.
