I bought this bike a couple months before our son's third birthday. Waited till a couple days before to put it together. The bolt and locking nut were stripped for the front break, which means the front break doesn't work at all, making the bike totally un-rideable. The back break barely applies any breaking either no matter how long you fiddle with adjusting it. I took it to a local bike shop for an emergency repair so we'd have a working bike to give to our three year old on his bday. The repairman had to cut the bolt off with an angle grinder and tried to cobble something together from his spare parts bin. He did the best he could but the bike still isn't going to work. A total waste. There is no website or support for Stitch. The bike comes with an email address shown for the UK distributor but no reply after a month of waiting. Do not buy this bike.

The looks and overall structure are not bad, but there are a few areas that need urgent improvement.
First, the freewheel: the 16T is far too heavy for a kids’ bike. You should be aware that it will need to be changed to an 18T or 20T for the bike to be truly usable.
Next, the rear brake — a drum brake? Seriously? It also needs a rear C-brake, along with aluminium brake levers, because the plastic ones are completely useless.
The bike has great potential, but the company clearly doesn’t care as long as people buy their products.
