A suitable soil environment is important for the healthy growth of plants. This means having ideal soil conditions, adequate water, sunlight, and plenty of plant nutrients. The Senua tester helps you know your soil more clearly and care for your plants more rationally. It will help you to avoid some of the common mistakes made by gardeners such as over, or under-watering, planting in areas with insufficient lighting and the soil tester can even highlight potential acidity or alkalinity issues with your plant’s soil.

Moisture Testing

Helps you to determine whether your plants are getting adequate lighting. You can locate your plants in the optimum position for receiving sunlight.

pH Testing

Helps you to control your soil pH levels. Tailor your plants to the correct levels of acidity or alkalinity. You will never plant your lovely flowers into the wrong type of soil again!

How To Use

Step 1: Push the switch to select either moisture/pH/light position

Step 2: Stick the probes into the soil roughly 4-6 inches (so about 60% of the probes are inserted into the soil)

Step 3: Adjust the position of the probes until the pointer on the dial swing slightly

Step 4: After 10 minutes, note moisture/pH/light level on the dial

Step 5: Remove probes from the soil and wipe clean after each use

Tips for Keeping Your Tester:

1: This soil meter CAN ONLY be used in soil. DO NOT use it to test any liquids directly, such as pure water, lemon juice, vinegar, and so on. This may damage the probes.

2: DO NOT insert the soil meter into very hard soil or touch hard objects.

3: This soil meter cannot accurately gauge the intensity of grow lights because most light bulbs lack the full spectral range of sunlight. To maximize the accuracy of sunlight readings, point the light sensor at the top front of the meter toward the sun

4: DO NOT leave the probes inserted in the soil longer than necessary to make a measurement.

Kindly Note:

1. Do not force it into very hard soil or touch hard objects since it will be easy to damage the probe.

2. Do not use it to test pure water or other liquids. It can only be used to measure soil.

3. Do not leave the meter in the soil for a long time.

4. Please wipe and clean the probe after each use.

5. If the soil is too dry the indicator will not move, and water it before testing.
