Not the sturdiest of lamps but fit enough for purpose. Wall mounting relies on plastic back plate that can’t cope with an uneven surface such as stone walling (flexes and fails to provide secure mount for lamp) but for price no surprise. Lamp itself is weatherproof, supplied bulb usefully bright and paintwork thick. Recommend liberally greasing (use vaseline if you have nothing else) all threads and bolt heads/nuts as they will corrode in aluminium surround and shear off when you try to change the bulb – which is why I bought this replacement.
