Dual Suspension System

The Basis brand has seen various Adult’s full suspension bicycles, but the Link is slightly different. While maintaining the robust Steel construction and coil sprung suspension within the frame, Link differs from it’s full suspension siblings through it’s square geometry, almost resembling a crossbar, hardtail frame. The suspension mechanism itself operates through a hinged swingarm, thus not relying on clearance between the seat post and swing-arm… Regardless of saddle height, you have full travel!

Combo Brakes

Combo brakes! The Link, unlike all others in the Basis range, boasts a responsive mechanical disc brake up front, supported by a simplistic V-Brake at the rear.

Shimano 18 Speed Gearing

As for gearing, a Shimano Tourney 18 speed system with Revoshift twist-grip shifters serve the purpose nicely and broaden the bikes, and indeed the riders, capability when it comes to terrain and ascents.
