Please note that reception also depends on the distance to the regional transmitter. Very thick walls, neon lights and energy-consuming electrical appliances (fridge, oven, air-conditioning, etc.) can reduce the capacity of the aerial. It is advisable to search for channels with a roof aerial and then use this small aerial.
On some TVs or Set top box, an integrated antenna power can be turned on to boost signal.

1. Check Your Local Signal Availability

2. TV Compatibility Required
Your TV must have a built-in digital tuner that supports Freeview/DVB-T/T2.If your TV is older or only supports analogue signals, you will need a Freeview Set-Top Box or External DVB-T2 Digital Tuner.
3. Correct Setup Is Essential
Place the aerial close to a window or at a higher position away from thick walls, large metal surfaces, or electronic devices.Always perform a channel scan after connecting the antenna.Some TVs may require changing the input source to ‘DTV’ or ‘TV’ before scanning.
4. For Weak Signal Areas
This antenna is best suited for most areas with signal coverage.If you are in a very weak-signal area (e.g., rural, surrounded by tall buildings), we recommend our August DTA300 High-Gain Antenna (28dBi) or August DTB115 Amplify Signal for better results.

No signal after connection

‘No Signal’ message Display on TV

No channels found
Possible Cause: Weak signal or poor antenna placement
Solution: Reposition the antenna and rescan; try placing it higher or near a window.
Channels lost after moving antenna
Possible Cause: Channel scan not repeated
Solution: Always rescan channels after repositioning the antenna.
